I have my first dress fitting in two weeks and still haven’t figured out what shoes to wear. My colors are blue and green, and I wanted to wear blue shoes. Below is a picture of my in my dress and my bridesmaids in the style of dress they ordered. They ordered from Davids Bridal in Horizon Blue. They will wear black shoes of their choice.
I had purchased the Stellina by Me Too:
But it ran a little big. They are no longer available in the half size smaller (size 9- if any of you Bees have them, I would love to buy them from you!) I guess I could try to put an inset in or something to keep my heel from slipping. Also, when I tried my dress on when it came in last week, I paired it with these shoes, and it still drug on the floor a little. If I got slightly taller shoes, I might not need to get my dress hemmed! These are 1 1/4 in.
So the hunt for shoes continued. I came across these:
They are Touch Ups Dakin. They are dyeable. Will david’s bridal dye shoes that are not purchased at their store? These are 2 1/2 inches so they may be a good height for my dress (and my Fiance who is not much taller than me!). I can’t decide if I like these better. I think I like the flower on them, but I don’t know if I like how it’s off to the side a little. And how will it look once dyed?
So what do you think bees?
Should I stick with Stellina?
Go with the Touch Ups Dakin?
Or keep looking for something new (suggestions welcome!)?
Below are a couple more shots of my dress (this is the sample, mine is Ivory, but I don’t have any pictures of me in it yet) and my cute little flower girl!
