(Closed) My shoes! To dye or not to dye?

I would be worried if you didnt dye them that they would turn green and brown from the grass anyways. I wore some white satin shoes for easter and I was only on the grass for a second and the heals are brown now. 


I say go for it!!! Check out a shoe taylor by you and see what they say about the dye coming off! If you dont you prob. will have ruined shoes anyways.

Hi, I looked up an article that you might find interesting. It tells you that dyable shoes are water soluble, meaning that they could bleed or stain in the rain, but you can apply a water repellant, and it should be fine.

Dying is not a good idea if you think they are going to get wet. Had dyed red shoes for a wedding one time (as a bridesmaid). They turned my feet red and ruined the shoes.

Btw. Where did you find these shoes?

I think those shoes look great! I wouldn’t dye them, especially since your wedding is outdoors! After an hour or so on the grass you should probably kick off your heels anyway 🙂

these shoes are great!  dye or not, they’re classy and beautiful.  one of my friends had similar ones for her wedding and she has worn them a million times since then.
