Sunday I went to David’s Bridal (I dreaded) to look at dresses. When I walked in I was so overwhelmed with the bright whites, sparkles, lace ,fluff and prices that I wanted to run out. But I stayed and patiently took on the challenge. Since I am not the typical bride, wanting the latest and greatest name brand, I felt a little out of place. I had to remind the sales associate that I wanted something sweet and simple and of course, under a certain amount.
After about 30 mins of ” no,no,no,no,….” I came across several tea length and short dresses. 2 of the dresses that I picked were the exact style, color, and price that I was looking for. I put them both on hold to ponder over and made an appointment for wednesday. But I couldnt wait, my dress was calling my name. And after 2 bf’s and my sister agreed without a doubt, I was back to davids the following afternoon to get “my dress” lol.
So please tell me what you think (sorry if its too big still working on making it smaller)

I absolutely love it. You can’t ever go wrong with simplicity! Great choice. I ended up choosing a simple dress, too, and was really happy with it.

LOL….. thanks guy the dress makes me look much thinner then I really am due to the A-line shape. Tea length was my only option. Im only 5’2 so chugging around a full dress and slip and whatever else that comes with it never sounded great especially at the reception…..
Next, do you bee’d think that a birdscage veil would be to much? I like the look of the 50’s and I think that would be perfect. Let me know what you think?
