Not that I mind all that much. I only have two bm’s, both are my sisters and because one is married I think she thought she was matron of honor by default. The reason I didnt want to have a matron of honor is because I knew my sister would get upset and I think she is a little. Yikes! But to be honest, the matron of honor has been a whole lot of help while the other sis has been a pain in the butt haha!
Did anyone assume a role in your wedding?

When my friend’s older sister (sister 2) got married, sister 1 (who was married) was matron of honor and sister 3 (who was single) was the maid of honor. maybe you could do something like that?
And the one person who “assumed a role” isn’t in the wedding party. When she declared she was my Maid/Matron of Honor, I just smiled and said maybe. I asked my real Maid/Matron of Honor later.

I wasn’t going to have a maid of honor or matron of honor because I was planning everything myself anyway. With three weeks to go it would be pointless making other sister maid of honor haha

I had a friend write on my facebook right after I got engaged saying ‘shotgun bridesmaid!’. I was planning to ask her, but still.
She also assumed she’d be Maid/Matron of Honor, but thankfully asked who I was having and THEN said she had assumed she’d be Maid/Matron of Honor. That could have been awkward (and a mess, i’m sure).
