Do you have some DIY tasks you could ask her to do and bring with her when she comes out? (something that would be easy to transport)

Otherwise, maybe just get her involved as you make choices about things. I can see the difficulty.

She should also be able to help plan your shower with some local people like other BMs or moms. A lot of that is just phone calls.

You can ask her for help with anything that you’d be able to do online! My Maid/Matron of Honor lives in NE (where the wedding will be held, hubby is military so we moved across the country for the Navy..) and she has helped a ton! I have compared photographers online and sent her the links to give her input, same goes with the DJ. We have looked online at centerpieces we might like as well as invitations.

She is planning the shower also, which is her biggest job! I guess maybe your MOH may not be able to physically help with some things, but just keeping her involved and asking for input, or help with decision making is how you can make her feel helpful and included!
