I designed the wedding invitations for my sister’s wedding and I thought I’d share!
She is having a very small (30-40 people) and budget wedding, so to cut costs we decided to do postcard invites with the majority of the information on her wedding website and email RSVPs. I am designing her website as well, but it’s not up yet.

Love the design!
Are you aware of the typos? ‘Website’ and ‘Correspondence’ are misspelled. Hope it’s not too late to fix…..

@[email protected]: Oh thanks haha! Nope, they haven’t been sent to print yet, so definitely not too late! Thanks so pointing that out to me! 🙂

they are cute but if i must be honest it is a little hard to read, the font on the front of the invite seems to fade into the background a bit

Since the text white and the background is dark blue, I really don’t think it will be hard to read once printed.
Besides, 90% of all wedding invitations I have seen have been hard to read! At least this one has custom typography. 😛

@DeathByDesign: i dont mean the blue background itself but rather the lilac designs that are also part of the background. but you are right thought most wedding invites are hard to read. i have a really lovely one in my hand right now but the font is so tiny and squiggly it gives me headaches just looking at it
edited to add that originally when i looked at it, the lilac curly designs looked white to me.. i think its just my screen.

Oh man, those swashes as to die for :). Love them.

NICE!!! Personally, I’d have used a different font ’cause I HATE anything difficult to read (hence why I despise so many invites, lol)
very very pretty and you did a great job!!!

Did you use 2 different fonts for Jason and Jenna?

I love the fonts you used. It looks so much more stylized. Besides, the info they need is all on the postcard correspondence side!
I really love this- it looks like a move poster 🙂 It’ll be perfect for framing!
