ew. she doesn’t sound like a very good friend.  If you want to salvage your relationship, try talking to her to see what’s going on.  If she isn’t willing to work through whatever it is with you then I say move on and leave her behind – life’s too short for toxic relationships.

Perhaps, but YOU don’t know what she’s doing, or why. That’s one of the reasons you’d talk to her – to find out why.  So talk to her! That’s what friends do!

She doesn’t sound like much of a friend to me, but I agree that it’s worth asking her why she’s being distant.  The only alternatives I see are to have her keep acting the same way and not know why or lose a friendship.  Is she in a relationship?  Is it possible she’s jealous that it wasn’t her getting engaged?
