My wedding is in two weeks, and my dress is finally here and ready!! I had my heart set on a blush dress and soon into the shopping experience, knew for sure I wanted a ballgown. The problem was, I couldn’t find any blush ball gowns that I loved. I fell in love with a Mori Lee ballgown in ivory with a layered tulle skirt, but it just wasn’t the color I had imagined. The ladies at the shop suggested that the seamstress could add a few layers of pink tulle to the skirt as well as some pink beading to the rest of the bling on the bodice. I saw my finished dress this week and it’s more perfect that I could have ever imagined! It still needs to be steamed, but here it is in its soft pink glory 🙂 We forgot to get a picture of the train, but I love the way it looks bustled!
I’m trying to not show anyone other than my mom who has seen it, so I thought I would share it here!

Thanks ladies! I was so impressed with the seamstress’ work. She told me that she ended up having to take the whole dress apart to get the pink in perfectly, and then put it back together. I’m pretty glad I didn’t know that was happening or I might have chickened out and not gone ahead with it!!
