It’s gorgeous! It will look perfect on once it’s sized! Rings that are tight always look smaller, however I love yours even on the end of your finger:)! Relax and take a ton of pics when it’s back on your hand. Congratulations!

MrsCC:  Doesn’t look small to me! That is quite a hefty gem 😉

I think it looks like a really nice size stone. Before I read your post I thought it was bigger than a .70 ! It will look perfect once it’s sized and you will love it  🙂

Your ring is gorgeous, and something around 3/4 ct. is the perfect size to me. My first e-ring had a .70 pear. I lost it last year :-(. Insurance replaced it, thank goodness. Now I have a .86 asscher, and honestly it looks smaller than the pear. I think asschers have a way of doing that, but my hubby chose the stone and I love step cuts, so it’s all good.

Yours does not look small for its size to me, and it’s going to be stunning next to your wedding band. Post some pics after you get it back!

MrsCC:  Sweetie, don’t focus on the carat size, I think it looks gorgeous, and honestly quality is much better than quantity and since you were loking for a ring without inclusions, I think you found it.  My ring is a .64 carat and I love it.  It fits perfect for me.

Honestly you are worrying about the difference in a fraction of millimeters. Nobody will notice I promise!

mezmryzed:  asscher cut diamonds face up the smallest out of any other cut. A 1.8 carat asscher and a 1 CT round cut will face up about the same. It’s a bummer because that’s my favorite cut too!
