Ohhhhh… Belle….sending prayers to you & your son…and fingers crossed that someone will find her real soon and bring her home.
Can you put a lost puppy ad on Craigslist in that area? And post signs everywhere you can, on poles, in any nearby stores….

Definitely keeping your son’s poor puppy in my thoughts and prayers.  Hope you find her.  I agree – put up signs.  A friend of mine lost a cat, and only got her back when they put up signs around the neighborhood.  It appeared that someone thought she was a stray even though she is a little fat and obviously a housecat.

Did you try calling animal control and the police dept? I’ll pray for your puppys safe return!

you may have to "find the puppy" … like replace it with a new one and tell him thats the puppy! Don’t know if that actually works but I’ve seen it in movies! It will help him, maybe?

@Belle – do they live in a subdivision or somewhere that you could put flyers in peoples’ mailboxes…that could help.
Don’t lose hope!!! I lost a cat for 6 weeks and the LAST day that we ran the lost cat ad in the newspaper after week 6 I read the paper to see if it was still there and saw a "found cat" ad….it was my cat! He had climbed in an open window at a house 4 blocks away!

I’m not really sure how far you’re willing to go to find her, but you could try to find a tracking dog if you have any items that Stella has made contact with recently that Diesel has not (which could be tricky). Good luck! I hope that pup is Stella! Unfortunately, lots of labs look similar so it can definitely be hard to tell in a pic!

Sending some good thoughts your way, Belle!  Good luck!  Hopefully you’ll have some good news to report to us this morning.

You didnt happen to chip her when you first got her did you?  The chip is so little the insert it with a needle between the dog’s shoulder blades in case they’re ever lost.  Whoever finds the dog can take it to a shelter where the scan for a tag and your information (Name, address, phone #) will come up so they can contact you.  That’s how we found our lab a few years ago. I don’t have any brilliant tips for finding your lost little girl, but maybe shell out the $50 and get Deisel tagged next week?

Are there lots of kids in the neighborhood?  Maybe offer a reward to the kids if anyone finds her?  Kids are more likely to play in the woods and maybe see her if she’s hiding somewhere.
