MaryMaksoud:  did he propose before sending you the ring?

Congratulations!… but this seems a little odd?

Congrats! Any reason in particular you wear it on your right hand? Is it a cultural thing?

MaryMaksoud:  Just a weird way to propose, IMO.

I would be a little hurt if Fiance didn’t propose to me in person, even over skype, and had his mom give me the ring. I would have rather waited when I went to visit, or move there like in your situation.

But that aside, it is a beautiful ring!

That ring is fantastic! Love! is that rose gold? *swoon*

I would probably do a narrow (1-2mm) semi eternity band in the same metal as the ring.

MichiganGirl24:  Really? This thread is about the ring, she’s happy about the proposal and not asking for your opinion on it. How would you feel if someone asked about your proposal story and they criticized your FI?

Congrats on your engagement! Your ring is lovely. I used to be in a long distance relationship, too.

MaryMaksoud:  Ah! I thought so! (: It’s beautiful! I think a twisted band like mine would look nice. (: But I’m in love with twisted rings so I’m just biased. (;
