haha. I haven’t been like this at all! While I find things that are neat or color combos I like, I always am pleased with the flair of my wedding, which is in like, 4 weeks! I love the fun, crazy, neat ideas that are out there, but then I realize that I’m not like that in real life =]

This is partly why I began blogging.  I wanted to make myself a "style journal" and I have a notebook where I add notes in it, and some pictures also.

It’s an evolution I think.  And it will change all the time.  Be flexible!

My tastes have definitely evolved as the planning has…I think that’s natural with a 2-year engagement!

Oh its too bad you changed from gold, gold is a BIG part of my wedding day! I think it is just so elegant! and looks beautiful with brown and cream which are my colors.

Well, ha ha good luck with figuring out your new color palett

Get a notebook too and have one with clear plastic covers and put mag clippings in it..and in your blog or on one of your photo processing programs, create inspiration boards.

All this has helped me keep focused.  When we’re ready to go full force, it will be a song..literally a walk in the park!

I also have the Mindy Weiss planner (won it here btw) and will be using that too..carrying two planners.  One more business and the other style.

Organization is imho key to keeping theme in tact.  I can see this blog and two others (my first and second runner up sites..stylemepretty and southern weddings) and want this or that, but in the end, I take and then re-design (in my head and on paper) ways to take something I liked that I saw, make it different, and apply it to my theme.

Now it’s all pretty much done.  There may be a few teeny twists and turns yet to be determined, but I’ll take care of that when T takes care of putting Ms. Scarlett (my ring) on the finger!
