Sigh. It was amazing.
I’ll be quick: ceremony was at Clipper Mill Pool, and reception was across the street at Coradetti Glass Blowing Studio (literally, still a glass-blowing studio by day). Incredible venues (and pretty cheap!). We had Mexican food from a sustainable, local caterer and bought our own organic / sustainably grown wines (and a couple really delish craft beer options). We also had fresh margariats and a tequila tasting! Cocktail reception with chili, tacos, amzing passed appetizers, and really great staff. Flowers were from Local Color, which uses only locally sourced and family-run farms in Baltimore.
Our friends made the cake, and helped us “group DJ” with an iPod — which turned out amazing. A perfect mix of sweet alternative songs, non-terrible country, and terrible (read: awesome) 90’s music. We walked down the aisle to Canon, had a reflection time during the ceremony to “Book of Love”, and walked back down to “Dog Days are Over”. Wrote our own vows….in fact we wrote the whole ceremony, which was preformd by a good friend. He cried. I cried. It was perfectly sweet.
Our ceremony location didn’t allow us to have booze, so we had a “Lemonade and Lawn Games” cocktail hour, orchestrated by my wonderful (and 8 months pregnant) cousin. Homemade “Mac” (macadamia nut) and “Nick” (snickerdoodle) cookies….like 14 dozen! So gooooood. Our Best Man MADE the lawn games. How sweet is that??
Our photog was AMAZEBALLS. Stevie T photogrpahy…can’t reccommend her enough. So great (as you’ll see from our pics). I had a Man of Honor and a Matron of Honor; my husband had a Best Man and Best Woman. Everyone was incredbly awesome, and no one caused an ounce of drama. We had tons of little touches, and everyone really seemed to enjoy themselves. My dad (pro photog) set up a photobooth that ROCKED, and kept eveeryone sooo entertained the whole night. We have AMAZING pics from it lol.
Without further adieu…..here are the photos! (this is copy and pasted right off of Stevie T’s blog….so thank you to her for all of her amazing work!)
Are you kidding me with this dress?!! Stunning!!!!Nick waiting to see his bride… I love this image right before Nick turned around and got to see Mackenzie for the first time. I am in love with this moment! This was a little stolen moment between Nick and Mac right before they walked down the aisle hand in hand. The Clipper Mill Pool made an amazing ceremony location.Their reception was at Coradetti Glass Blowing Studio... Incredible!Best dance off I have ever seen .. ever!

Few things I forgot to mention:
– Dress from Nordstrom Rack
– Suit from Nordstrom Rack, also, lol.
– Shoes: Hey Lady pumps; earrings: Kate Spade
– Bracelet was my wedding gift from my wonderful husband (no clue that was coming, but it worked out perfect), from Tiffany’s
– The hankie is really special; it belonged to my husbands great, great Grandmother, and we had asked his mom if we could use it as our “something old / blue”….so she had it embroidered with our names and wedding date, and gave it to us on our wedding day. Nick carried it down the aisle in his pocket and used it to wipe my tears several times. My MIL is the sweetest.
– Our first dance was a fox-trot to “January Wedding” by the Avett Brothers; we didn’t do parents dances, although we ended up dancing with parents alot! We also didn’t do a bouquet or garter toss.

LOVE THE SHOES. I wore those too, heee. So comfy and beautiful. We also had bridesmaids+bridesmen and groomsmen+groomswomen. And quite coincidentally, I tried on that dress or one very similar when looking for dresses, haha. So your wedding is right up my alley! It looks like it was gorgeous and TONS of fun. The photos are amazing – I especially love the last one!
