I have 3 taper candles as my unity candles, instead of 2 with a pillar candle. The candle in the middle is a little taller than the other 2, and purple instead of white. They are all decorated with butterflies, and they will sit on a 3-taper-candle holder. Is this a bad idea?
The only thing is, the thing tips over when when we take the other 2 candles off. It’s off-balanced. How can I weight everything down evenly? I really want to use this idea. Thanks!

Could you maybe attach small fishing weights to the bottom of the holder? I have no idea what your holder looks like, so that may not be an option, but Fiance is a fisherman, and that tends to be my answer to weighing things down. 🙂
As far as having three taper candles, I think you’ll be fine. You’re still distinguishing the unity candle by having it taller and another color, so I think it’ll look cute!

@SoonToBCJ: I thought about fishing weights too. I think it’ll work. I may wave to wire them on, since I doubt hot glue or super glue would hold them! 😀 No biggie!

Do you have any pictures?
Pictures would be easier to visualize something that might work for you.
