My mother thinks I’m nuts, my wedding planner thinks it’s the best one she’s heard yet.
Personally, I’m all about it. Fiancé and I were watching the extended version LoTR films, when the Rohan theme started playing during the Two Towers, I was like, “Holy sh!t! That’s it, that’s the song I’m walking down the aisle to!” He also loves it.
I’m hopefully my musicians can learn it. I’m going to reach out to them soon.
I’ll start my walk at the part that sounds majestic af (about 0:50 into the clip).

I think it’s cool! No one should have any judgement- who cares what you walk down the aisle to, right? (Not in a negative way!) it will sound beautiful!

Umm I am a HUGE Lord of the Rings nerd. I love the books and movies (Two Towers is actually my favorite book and movie of all time) and that is my absolute FAVORITE song from the whole trilogy.
I got married at a courthouse but if I had a traditional wedding no joke I probably would have had this song. Please walk down the aisle to it. It’s so beautiful. I think people would love it, even if they’ve never seen/heard of Lotr.

I think that’s great. I walked down to a piano certain of the theme song to “Enterprise.”

Zelda has great music!! Have always loved the Zelda soundtracks, as well.
That must have been awesome! Did many of your guests recognize it? I wonder if the older generation of my guests will recognize the Rohan theme. Most of my friends and cousins will, I think.
That was my thought, too. Even if people don’t recognize it, it’s still a beautiful composition.
Excellent choice, so powerful! It’s amazing that your mom recommended the song!
It’s always been my opinion that the music on your wedding day should be something you love and find moving. Now my biggest concern is walking down the aisle crying because I’m so overhwlemed (in a good way). 😂

I have no idea if they recognized it. I wasn’t paying attention as I walked down the aisle. But it matched our sci-fi geek theme. And we loved it which was most important.
