It’s very pretty but since this is your second issue with the ring I might look at something else.

Honestly?  Return it.  If they just simply fix that ring it’s not enough.  I would get a whole new ring myself.  That whole line is probably not well made

It is a lovely ring, but that having so many problems so soon is absolutely ridiculous.  I’d demand something new.

That’s lame! I would look for a new style, and inquire as to why that one has had problems, so you don’t end up with another dud.

Not tryin to be nosy but: 1) is it from Kay? and 2) did they size it?  I’m just guessing from the picture.  That sounds like they sized it and didn’t soder it back correctly.

@cincychick35:  Please don’t take this rudely because I don’t mean it that way, I just think it might sound bad when I type it.  Kay does terrible work with sizing.  I would demand a NEW ring and take it somewhere else to get sized.  I’ve had them mess up 2 rings of mine and I made them give me a new one each time.  Or, get a refund and look somewhere else.

@cincychick35:  It looks like from the picture the first one is beautiful and thick enough.  For some reason, when they size, they take off so much gold it’s too thin on the back.  A good jeweler won’t have a problem sizing the first one.  Unless of course you want to take this opportunity to get some more bling! 🙂

@cincychick35:  I hope so! They look about the same in the picture, so it was hard to tell.  Let us know how it goes!

Woah, I never heard of a ring snapping in half. Take it back and demand a new one! That’s not funny! Are you going to go to the same place for a new one or do you think you should try somewhere else?

@MrsCoachBtoBee: I agree. if it was resized incorrectly, the solder joint might not have been done properly.

take it back and demand they give you a new one!
