So I decided to order my wedding band off of blue nile (post talking about why here), but I couldn’t decide between two I loved! Each has feature I love and don’t love. The cost is almost exactly the same so that isn’t a factor. Here are my thoughts:
– Fiance likes it better
– It matches my ering (and is beautiful!)
– It’s super blingy
– It will be able to be resized if I ever need to
– It’s very common. I feel like everyone and their sister has this type of band and even though its soo pretty that bugs me a little
– It’s much more unique and its really beautiful
– I like it better when worn alone
– It still kind of matches because it is more of a diamond/metal combo like my band rather than pure bling
– its a full eternity band and that really worries me because i couldn’t ever resize it
Pics below… thoughts???

I like the bezel ring better – it’s more unique, and I do get bored of seeing the same rings over and over again. It’s very beautiful as a standalone and matches your ering as well…
However, if it were me, I’d find it hard not to go for the ring my Darling Husband loves best… so I’d try to convince him that the bezel is the best but if he doesn’t come around, I might choose the other one.

I like the “pave and blingy” one. Your “con” for it doesn’t outweigh all its “pros”

I’m a bit confused which one is which. I like the one in the first two pictures, the one with the less straight lines.

@troubled– sorry i don’t know how to write in between pics! the first two pics are actually ring b, the second two are ring A 🙂

I see why you like the “different one” but I really like the more traditionally blingy one.
I think if I saw you on the street (not that this really matters) and you had the shaped one (untraditional) I would think, hmm why did she choose that, it doesn’t really match.
But I also see what you mean about the other one, I would look at that and say, oh thats basically the same setting my other friend has (literally).
In the end don’t worry about what other people think though, go with what you want.
I personally would go with the traditional more common band and then maybe get something more unique like the other as an anniversary band.

@egb- i really don’t think he’ll change his mind. he’s very traditional and all about bling 🙂 but he isn’t passionate about it. its more like “I like this one better but i REALLY want you to love your band so i’ll be cool with either.”

Are the side stones on your Ering channel set or prong set? It’s hard to see.
If they are channel set, I vote for option A. If they are prong set, then I vote for option B. The settings will be complimentary then.

The pave band! My rings are similar!! Maybe that’s why I picked Ring A! 🙂

i vote for blingy! Oh and your ering is a beauty!

Oh OK, that makes sense, that’s what I thought but wasn’t sure. I like the one you like, too much matching always makes me tense….weird but true.

I like ring A(last two pictures)….if you stuck to strictly what matches better. I love anything unique too but I am leaning to Ring A a bit more.

I love the bezel one. So unique and pretty! Very romantic.

They are both beautiful. The top one gives a more romantic feel and the bottom one a more classic feel. IMO To choose, to choose.

So while the one matches perfectly, I like that the first wedding band is not exactly the same. It shakes things up a little bit
Honestly, what bugs me the most about perfectly matching wedding band sets is the asymmetry of the center diamond and i see what you mean about them being common. Eh, mine are not the same though (round diamond band, baguette+princesses in the e ring). The ring looks “off” to me because of that. Drives me bonkers! aren’t i silly? So that’s why i like the bezel style one personally.
