(Closed) My wedding day is my officiant’s wedding anniversary – How to honor?

How about sending them some love during your thank you speech/toast?  It gives them a little shout out w/o putting them in the spotlight (which may be uncomfortable for them) by cutting a special cake or doing a dance.

I think having a toast in their honor, like MrsJKH2be suggested, would be very nice.  You could have the song they first danced to played for them.  I don’t think having an extra cake for them to cut would be tacky.  (on a side note, I am have a cupcake with a candle in it for my aunt who’s birthday is our wedding day)  Remember though, this is your wedding not their anniversary party so be carefull of making it too much about them on you and your new husband’s day.
