I think it would look good with the corset.

A corset will definitely work. Depending on how tight it is, ask your alterations seamstress what makes sense. You can let out a dress 2inches if needed. If you don’t want to go that route, a corset back will definitely work.
Since my dress was a little too tight in the bodice, I’m working on losing 5-10 lbs to cut my alteration bill. The last time I tried my dress, just my losing 3lbs was great. Another 4lbs will be perfect.

I agree. A corset back would look great. When clicked on the link I was able to see the back and adding the corset should help.

@AmyL: Don’t stress. You have 3 months, any chance you can lose a little weight in 1.5 months? It will be less expensive than alterations 🙂

A corset is a great solution. It could also work to let it out in a different way; you could ask a seamstress! I’m sure it will all work out 🙂

@AmyL: OMG. The same reason why I had to go on my diet. Unfortunately my dress would not look right w/ a corset. The first dress I purchased, I couldn’t zip it past my but so I had to return her to get MY DRESS.
A corset back is very forgiving if you need to take in or take out. Go we the corset.

I like the idea of a corset. If you don’t have weight to lose, I’d go for the corset and alterations, rather than trying to get below a natural weight.

Second the other bees about the corset- will match this dress so perfectly!
