Hmm…. the crown though! I did ask for opinions, so thanks ladies for the honesty. My hair won’t get much length to it, but the layers will grow out a bit and I’m going to stop it with the thinning shears so it will get tons thicker in the coming year. I’ve never had hair past my neck, and I’m not changing my style for the wedding. That’s just not me. I agree with not a ton of jewelry, because I don’t want to take away from the dress. I like the soft curls idea. Any ideas on a cheaper veil? I can’t see spending a ton of money on one, and everything I see online and in the stores are sooo much more than I want to spend.

I know Princess Di is dated, but she was absolutely stunning on her wedding day. I wouldn’t mind channeling her a bit. Love the honesty though, no hurt feelings.

You are beautiful, but that crown is killing the look.

The dress is stunning! Absolutely gorgeous. But put me in the anti crown camp.

I love your dress and it flatters you perfectly! I love the embellishment around the top.

The dress fits beautifully! Lovely choice.

I actually like the crown and think it goes really well with how regal your goregous dress is! Definitely reminds me of princess Diana, especially with your short hair 🙂

unless you are actual royalty I don’t think anyone can get away with wearing a crown unless, as pp’s pointed out, its a young girl or a costume. Princess di got a crown cause she was an actual princess, the rest of us not so much. Honestly at first glance I was like is this a pagent or something? I think you are stunning and classy and elegant and so is that dress, but the crown looks like you are trying too hard to be a young pretty princess bride and not even 22 year old brides pull that off well without looking a bit silly. I love your hair in your prof pic what abt wearing it half up/half down with some wave? Or all the way up, pulled back with a crystal hair peice? Or what if u wore the crown in the evening after the ceremony during the reception, where it’s a bit more “fun” or take it on your honeymoon and rock it with a white Bikkini?

I think you could stick with the tiara idea but soften it alittle. A pearl tiara would compliment your dress. The one in the picture is very stark and a little “costume” like. Maybe something like:

the tiara is too much. it looks costume-y and like you’re trying to be a princess. go with a simpler tiara.

I agree with PP, I wouldn’t wear the tiara. Your dress is STUNNING!!!! Who makes it if you don’t mind me asking.

Love the dress, you rock it. But like just about every person I am seriously side eyeing that crown. It sort of ruins the look.
But… your wedding, your day, your way.

if I were you I’d ditch the crown, as I think it takes away from your stunning dress and makes you look a bit dated. I think you should try and grow your hair a bit, it seems really thick and I reckon would be hard to do much with it at that length. maybe something sweeping to the side somehow!

I actually like the crown! It is so unique and will definately be a point of interest ( in a good way)!
I do think that a veil might be a bit much with it, as you say you don’t want to distract away from the crown 🙂

Your figure is amazing and the dress looks great. That crown though…
