The dress is magnificent, the crown however, not my style.  If you like it, wear it.  You look gorgeous in that dress, although with a body like that, you could wear a potatoe sack and look good.

The dress is a home run. Your figure is killer and you are just so darn cute!

That said, the crown truly ruins all of the above. It takes the loverall ook from flattering, classic, and elegant; to 9 year old playing dress up. Fingers crossed that you ditch it!

aoppenhuizen:Wow! You look fabulous! LOVE the crown! I would wear a veil underneath it. Hide the comb in an elegant undo and have the veil just kind of protruding from your head. I’d go with a classic hairstyle, a chignon or French twist. Definitely pull the hair back though. A veil and a crown is already teetering on overkill without your hair distracting from you face, as well. I know it’s hard hearing all the negative comments about the crown but most of it is personal style and taste. You look amazing and obviously will have no problem pulling off any look! The back of that dress is to die for!

I think you can make a crown and veil work 😀

Maybe a long veil and fold the blusher over the crown to soften the look? I think that would be pretty.

Like others have said, I suspect you might look back at the crown and cringe. It is a little ’90s prom’. I would suggest that you try some veils and a few other hair clips before settling on that particular hair ornament. The dress is gorgeous though.

that dress looks great on your body! Veil not needed, especially if you keep the crown.

That dress looks incredible on you – so pretty! I agree with the others about the crown, though. I think it looks too costumey when combined with your dress. I think you can still wear a headband or headpiece of some sort, just not a full blown crown. What do you think of this hair? I think you’d look beautiful with your bangs pushed back to show off your face and great cheekbones!

I also found this image which shows a smaller headpiece and a veil.

I don’t want to beat up on you anymore about the crown (I also agree that it is not my taste). However, I do have some constructive points! I think if you wear your hair swept back, that would help the crown a bit. I don’t think I would do a veil then, i just think it’d be too much.

To person that made a comment about cringing when you look back on your picture, honey we’re ALL going to cringe when we look back at our wedding pictures. Styles come and go.

Speaking as a tiara bride myself, unless that sucker is the real deal or has been passed down in the family it does seem unusual to go with that style. However if you love it go for it.

Either you’ll need to bring the crown forward or set it way back on your skull at an angle.

My vote is to either keep the bangs off your forehead all together or have a sweep (kind of like what you have now), but not have the hair line right up against the crown. For the veil either have it right under the crown (which would give you more comfort)

or set it back further.

I think that a blingy headband would work better than the crown. A young girl in a princess ballgown could probably pull it off, but on a mature woman,  it looks kinda cheesy.
