It’s been so long since I’ve been on here, but I promised some that I would post some pictures of my wedding in Maui this summer. Here are a few portraits and shots of the location.
It was an amazing day; I would recommend a destination wedding to anyone!

Where in Maui did you get married?

Where is your cake from? It is so cute! I am having a destination wedding in Maui and am looking for bakeries.

@BAKE0629: We got married at the Royal Lahaina Resort on Kanapaali beach. I would totally recommend it – they took care of everything and everything was fantastic. The price was reasonable too.
@scubagal: The Royal Lahaina Resort took care of the cake for us; I’m not sure if they did it themselves or had a bakery do it. I ordered the topper online – it’s salt and pepper shakers 🙂

Beautiful! Congrats 🙂
What did you end up doing for your centerpieces? I remember some chatter way back about trying to find something easily transportable/easy to DIY on the fly/beautiful.

@SapphireSun: I don’t have too many pics of the decor yet…just what guests took. For favours I stamped bags here at home and transported them flat, then filled them with macadamia nuts over there.
For centerpieces, I bought round mirrors with rhinestones on them and green vases over here and carried them onto the plane in a backpack. Then we filled them with tropical flowers the day before the wedding. I got all of my flowers at Safeway (centerpieces, guest book table, and bridesmaid bouquets) for less than $150.
Then for the head table, I bought three clear glass vases (light ones) over here as well as some water beads (made my dad carry those on to the plane!) and then we just placed our bouquets in them.
I was a lot more worried about decor before I got over there; once I got there and saw that the setting would steal the scene anyways, I wasn’t as concerned anymore 🙂
