Its coming up in less than 2 weeks and Im still chasing people down to find out what their food preference is because I didn’t inivite them, other people did. aargghh….. This is driving me bonkers! Who does that??? Inviting themselves to a wedding they weren’t invited to and we don’t even know each other! My family would be mad though if I don’t invite them *sigh*

My wedding is this Sunday and I went through the same thing. We had two dinner choices available. Whoever didn’t tell me what they wanted or invited themselves got the chicken meal. I got tired of it real fast.

serenity84: I’d do what the PP did! I’d be pretty unimpressed too. They invited themselves, you shouldn’t have to chase them down, chicken for ’em all!

Our RSVP date was last Friday, and I’m giving people until this Wednesday before I contact them from my side of our list. FI’s mom is working on their side this week as well. It’s so interesting how bad people are at RSVPing for things these days. It’s like, once you get that inviation – you either know you can go, or know that you cannot go.
We don’t need the food information for another 2 weeks, but I’d like to get a start on our place cards so that it’s one less thing to do. We actually have not had anyone RSVP for people we didn’t invite, which I was surprised about – you think this would have happened based on statistics.

My wedding is this Saturday and I had that problem too, I think it just comes with the territory of getting married! The ones that never responded to my requests just got steak, which was the cheaper option of ours lol. They ended up responding eventually and lucky for the wanted steak anyway, but I wouldn’t have cared either way!
I also had an issue with people adding extra people onto their RSVP’s – even children, when we didn’t want kids at the wedding. People just don’t get it!
