My headband finally came in yesterday from Wedding Factory Direct so I couldn’t resist trying on all my accessories with my dress! My hair is naturally wavy/curly and I happened to skip the blow dryer that morning, so it’s in it natural state here.
Couple notes, I usually wear my hair down (straightened) or in a pony tail. I had decided a while back that I’d wear my hair either down and curly or half up, fearing the ‘alien head’ look of having no hair in pictures with an up do. I especially thought the headband would look better with some or all hair hanging down. But with it curly yesterday, I decided to just see how a loose up-do would look with it and I rather like it. Plus, can I pass up a chance for fancy up-hair when I almost never have a chance to have it professionally done? And up hair would be cooler for my July wedding.
Well, let’s get on with it. Can I pull off the loose up-do? Or do you just love it down and flowy?
(P.S. I love the juxtaposition here of the pic of me as Maid/Matron of Honor in my sis’s wedding in ’07– with half up hair. Yes, that’s my Fiance with me, he was a Groomsman.)

I really really love the loose up do. For reals. I think you catch my drift. 🙂

Pretty jealous of your natural hair! Mine barely has curl..so it’s inbetween wavy and straight. Air-dry is a mess for me.
I personally LOVE it up. You might also want to think that your hair might make you hot in July if it’s down. That’s the only reason I’m wearing mine up!

Down looks like a fairy princess (in a good way…like Amy Adams in Enchanted!), but I think up is my fave, it shows off your shoulders/necklace and the tendrils are so pretty!

You have gorgeous hair, you really can’t go wrong with either but I chose up because it looks a little more formal and goes very well with your dress. (p.s. your headband looks really cute! and your dress is awesome!)
