I like the headband if you’re going for more of a glitzy glam look. It goes together nicely. Is that you in the hair/makeup pic or just an inspiration pic?

Is your dress the Mori Lee Blu 4524? That’s my dress, too! πŸ™‚

I feel like either hair accessory could work, though I prefer the headband. I agree about the necklace…I tried on about a million but they just didn’t seem to mesh right with the dress. I’m also wearing drop earrings and a crystal bracelet, I think the bridal consultant recommended that combo and said it would work well with the dress.

I’m also planning on wearing my hair half-up! Have you had a trial yet? The only thing I might say is the style could maybe use a little more hair down, it looks a little sparse on the bottom compared to the volume at the top. Otherwise, it’s gorgeous!

Lovely dress!  I agree to nix the heavy necklace – it will allow the pretty waist detail to shine.  However, instead of simple drop earrings, I think some sparkly chadeliers like the ones in the hair pic would be lovely, particularly if you go with the flower πŸ™‚

@martinca: I’ve also noticed a lot of low bun hairstyles on girls who wear this dress. I hate the way I look with my hair up, so I did my trial with half-up and bangs and I loved it! Here are some photos of my trial…Maybe it will help because I am wearing the same dress and the hairstyle is kind of similar to the one in your photo!

I’m going to use that crystal comb in the back and a fingertip-length cut-edge veil. Are you planning on wearing a veil? I think the headband would be a great alternative to the necklace because it’s blingy without being overpowering. I love the flower too but I usually think of it as a style with a less formal dress. It could definitely work, though!

Gorgeous dress! I would go without a necklace, and I like the flower instead of a headband.

Your dress is soo beautiful! You are going to make a beautiful bride! I personally love the headband picture. I think it would go with the dress very nicely.

@martinca: I think the chandeliers could be a little much for the headband.  Too much sparkle, too close together.  I’d do simpler earrings then.  Either way, you have a lovely look put together!

Pick between the earrings or the headband, dont bling out both.

Maybe a bracelet instead of the headband! I think the headband might take away from your sash/banding on your gown.
