I just made my binder. Still working on getting everything together, but I just had to share. I threw some stickers on there I had around and I think it came out very cute!
I have contracts, a to do list, calendar, notes, music choices, and pics of cakes, makeup, hair, etc. Trying to keep it all in my head works now, but as we get closer I would have gone bonkers!
Did any bees out there add anything they felt was super helpful?

We’re starting our planning in two weeks, so I don’t have a binder yet, but I’m commenting so I can follow this thread 🙂 Looking forward to seeing everyone’s binders!

I thought about doing one, but having a physical paper copy drives me nuts! I’ve set up a digital version in Google docs so I can access it from anywhere.

I was thinking about digital, but I’m old fashioned. Being able to check things off my list is very cathartic for me lol!
Glad you found something that works for you!

I bought a wedding planner that is made by the Knot fron Barnes and Noble with a giftcard I had! It has been very helpful so far! And had deff helped me stay organized! 🙂

I made one that was very in depth. I’ll get a list of everything when I leave work. Commenting to follow/remember.

That’s cute! My friend gave me hers that she didn’t use, but my fiance and I ended up hiring a wedding planner. I got an Erin Condren Life Planner for Christmas that I’m customizing so the “morning” section is wedding-related stuff like appointments and when deposits/payments are due (I am a paper planner – having things electronically drives me nuts! I blame high school and college for giving us amazing planners each year).

I’m someone who likes having a physical plbanner, rather than just on computer or tablet or phone. I just used a spiral notebook though, anything else would’ve been too much for me to carry around! It’s kept me organized though!

Oh and the most helpful to me was writing down names and addresses as we found them out. I liked having a single place for everything!

Yep, I have one! Filled with all the contracts, to do list, guest list and music. I don’t have pictures of anything in there since I have everything picked out already. But I do love my binder and find it helpful!

I have both actually.. I bought the Mindy Weiss Wedding planning binder (best thing ever)
In Excel I started a list of guests and budget (obv cause it can automatically add and I’m lazy)
That Excel sheet has also been my go to for everything I don’t have in my binder (expenses, guest addresses and numbers…) I’m a bit OCD with it…
Another tip: Something I found VERY helpful is both me and my Fiance downloaded an app called “Couple”. We share a celndar in there and I add appointments, payment due dates and wedding lists.. it’s great!

I had nothing better to do just now at work, so I took pictures of my binder. I haven’t put anything on the front yet.. But I plan to. With less than 9 months to go I take it with me just about every where lol.
I keep my contracts in each individual section so they aren’t all in one place I can flip right to the section. My binder is a Martha Stewart one, and so are my pouches.
I have tabs for:
-“the basics”- which I keep just little tid bits of information in
-budget- self explanatory.
-ceremony/reception venue(s)- mine are both at the same place so this makes it extremely easy.
-bridal party attire- I made a spread sheet of each person, it shows what they wear, price, pick up/delivery date, etc. For the ladies I also have pictures of the dresses they chose. I included the MOB/G and FOB/G as well
Inspiration- for invites, reception, ceremony, etc
photography- right now I only have the contract but I will have pictures/a list of the “must have” Pictures
-guests- the guest list in working on the master list with addresses currently, along with spaces for bridal shower, RSVP, etc

That’s great! Very similar to mine! 🙂
My girls and I are going dress shopping for them this weekend. I hope we find something and I can add it to my binder!

I have the knot binder and I love it! We use that as our planner, then we also have the jcrew wedding binder that we use to store contracts/magazine clippings etc. Then we use google docs to keep track of costs and guest lists. I also use the knot website Checklists in conjunction wich is super helpful in the go! and I have like ten pinterest boards. Lol
