- Wedding: August 2012
Hey Everyone! I just had to write a thread about the wedding vendors I’d recommend because they were absolutely amazing, not to mention reasonably priced and when the avg pricetag for a wedding is $28K on a wedding, quality and affordability mean a lot. FYI, we spent $20k on our wedding and my aunt thinks we spent at least $40k. These vendors are based in Los Angeles but to my knowledge, will travel.
Photographer – Christina Sanchez Photography – http://www.christina-sanchez.com/ absolutely phenomenal and such a steal. I have an acquaintance friend who wasn’t invited to the wedding add one of our engagement photos to her phone’s photo album because she loved it soo much.
Videographer – Paul Kwak Productions https://www.facebook.com/#!/paulkwakproductions You have to watch his videos. They’re shot like a Sophia coppola movie. ridiculously good!
Day Of coordinator – Rebecca Jones, Icing on the Cake Events – http://iotcevents.wix.com/events Now, full disclosure – she wasn’t my day of coordinator, I met her at a wedding event two months before my wedding so I already had a coordinator. But my DOC turned out not to be as great as I hoped and when its your wedding day, that’s not good enough. And Rebecca actually helped me out more than my coordinator! I considered cancelling my doc and hiring Rebecca, but I was on a budget so that really wasn’t an option for me.
Cake — Kings Hawaiian Bakery in Torrance. Best price I found (and I looked at several), the options were soo delicious and the cake was beautiful. My coordinator said she was gonna start recommending them to her other clients.
So there you go. Hope this helps some brides in need! If you do end up going with any of these vendors, tell them their August 5th, 2012 bride recommended them, I want them to know I was that impressed with them! If you have any questions I’d love to help answer them.
