I haven’t read through everything, so I’m sorry if this has already been discussed.

You may not legally have the right to have someone else edit those photos. This is something you will have to look at your contract and photo release paperwork. My release paperwork states that I have the full rights to reproduce for non commercial purposes, but I cannot edit any of them. It doesn’t differentiate between editing for personal reasons or commercial.

I’m sure it’s not as bad as you think it is. For my wedding my dress was so loose that I had to sew it to my bra the morning of and everyone i danced with had to hold it up. I’m sure you still looked beautiful. We are our own worst critics.

mskitty2016 :  That’s great that you looked into that! Too many people don’t think that their photos may come with legal stipulations!

You were “mistreated”?  They were “uncaring and selfish”?  My God woman, get ahold of yourself.  You hired them!  They did the best they could!  You had your mom’s friend do your wedding dress.  You paid $100 for styling which is basically nothing.  Your curly hair wasn’t cooperating that day because of weather, and you were running late and that was that.

Send out your thank you notes already and move on.

I thought the problem with the dress was it was not properly latched on the wedding day, and that is why it did not stay up…
