So I received my photos from my trainer this morning and I am so excited to see the progress I have made so far. I am half way through my contract with him. We started working out with our trainer 2 days a week in December and we have 2 1/2 months to go with him. I have lost 22 lbs so far and I am feeling great. I have always been very athletic so the fact that I let myself get out of shape is disappointing to me. I know I wasn’t that big to begin with but I didn’t feel comfortable in my own skin and didn’t have the motivation to do anything about it. Now, I make much better decisions about what I eat and I work out 6-7 days a week. If only I had started this before the wedding! Here are my before pictures and the 3 month pictures. I can’t wait to see how I look at the end of the 6 months! Now I sleep so much better, my anxiety is a bit more under control and I have so much more energy. I am overall just happier! My husband has lost about 25 lbs so far but I don’t have his pictures. I think we would have made more progress but that darn frozen yogurt shop in our city has been killing us lately!
before…I wouldn’t even look at the camera. I was so mad this day because he made me get on the scale just before this…
3 months- I feel great!
3 months (I still need to work on getting a flatter stomach):
Before (hey back fat!)
Does anyone else have a weight loss journey to share?

I went from working out never to working out 6-7 days a week for anywhere from 1-3 hours a day. I also do more cardio now (I used to hate to run) and I’m running in my 1st 5K this weekend!
Diet has been the major thing. No more fast food. I now have a high protein (lean chicken, salmon, eggs) high veggie, some fruit diet. I only eat complex carbs too. I eat every 2 hours to keep my metabolism going.

Holy cannoli! The improvement in your midsection and back is fantastic! And your hips, legs, and bum look way more toned and trim, too. Good for you!
I wish I had similar results to share right now, but I don’t. However, you are an inspiration!
