I was going to post these photos on another thread but thought maybe my bouquet merited it’s own 🙂
Try as I might, I was really struggling to find a florist bouquet that really grabbed me but I didn’t know what I was looking for. Somehow I got the idea of asking my crafty friends and family to make me some flowers in navy/copper/turquoise so I could throw them all together. The first flower I got was pink… and the colour scheme kind of went out of the window.
I won’t lie, I was a bit worried at one point, but I think it somehow works! The best part is, I can keep this forever and it’ll never change, and obviously there’s a lot of sentiment behind it.
Copper/Silver foil flower – made by my husband, and it lights up
Glass flower – made by a local artist, I’ve been visiting her shop for years so we had to incorporate her art somewhere
Pink pony flower – made by a friend with a mutual love of My Little Ponies

Teal blue fabric flower – made by Mom from a rug belonging to my horse that I lost last year

Blue/copper roase with butterfly wings – made by an auntie
Pink knitted flower – made by a different auntie
Pink sequin/glittery flower – made by my friend’s now 7yo little girl
Iridescent film flower – made by a friend
Crochet navy rose – made by a friend (mother of the little girl)
Superhero badge – was my horses’ from his 18th birthday card (given to him by my Mom – Super Pony!)
Star Trek badge – a wedding gift from my husband – I’m a trekkie!
