the first one i think the pink sash takes away from the dress and the other ones with the busy bottoms are too overwhelming for you small frame.

Girl, that V-neck ballgown on you? In-CREDIBLE!  I’m so glad to see someone share an honest experience of the White line at DB. 🙂  It’s good to hear the pros and cons, and I’m sure other brides will definitely thank you!  Good luck with your continued dress hunt but I think you’ll come back to these gowns cuz  alot of them are just beautiful on you!

I actually really like the first dress on you.  They all look great because you have an amazing figure, but the first one is so different and understated, yet really modern and elegant.

The one shoulder is just SMASHING on you! With a sophisticated updo…wow! That gets my vote!

@NYCchickie: I agree. The one-shoulder looks stunning on you! I’ve seen it photographed in a real-life wedding and it’s gorgeous in pictures!

I am torn between the one shoulder and the v-neck. While I think the one shoulder is gorgeous and so amazing in photos I think the v-neck is a little less overpowering on your small frame.

You look gorgeous in all of them!

They are all beautiful on you!

I was at DB this weekend and the first thing I noticed is that the fabrics in the White collection are not very nice. While they photograph well, it’s obvious in person. Since your wedding is real life and not just pictures I would look for something in a better fabric.

Did you try the asymetrical, pleated gown shown on display? That dress might look really pretty on you. I preferred the one shoulder (2nd) gown, but I agree that the busy bottoms are a bit much for your small frame. They would probably be best for someone a bit taller because they look like they almost weigh you down. A more slim gown might give the illusion of height and that pleated dress looks lovely on display. Best of luck in your search! You are adorable!

I lovveeee the last one on you – the V-neck ballgown. That side profile is AMAZING!

Whatever you felt most happy in is what is important, though!

I like the one shoulder one the best…..All the bottoms do look a little overwhelming on you. I thought the same thing about my DB dress. (I decided not to wear it). It is a lace dress and doesnt look at all cheap to me. But the material on the other dresses did. Happy hunting.

@jenniferk10: I couldn’t decide between Style VW351010 (the one shoulder) and Style VW351029 (V neck ballgown).

But the more I’ve looked at them the more the V neck ballgown becomes my absolute favourite. It’s stunning on you.

What an awesome, thorough review of the collection. Thanks for sharing!

I think the V-neck gown is amazing, but they all are super flattering and pretty on you.
