Just wanted to share. Our nursery is just about finished. It is a really small room but we tried our best to make it feel larger than it really is. We wanted to keep things kinda gender neutral and calming to encourage that the nursery is a place for sleep. What do you think?

That doesn’t look that small (not by San Fran or Boston standards where I have lived, at least!) but it is really really adorable!

Thank you ladies. I went a lil etsy crazy as well as refinished a bunch of old family furniture (dresser and rocker) for this room.
The bookshelf was a super cheap project my hubby made of stained wood and plastic card holder shelves. I am a teacher so I know the importance of kids seeing the covers of books and not just the spines. Unfortunatly, all of the nursery furniture pieces that had book displays were way too big for our small nursery. DIY it is. I think it cost us $25 for those two shelves together.
@simpleandchic: The ottoman is from this seller. She was wonderful to work with. http://www.etsy.com/shop/aletafae?section_id=7873644
