SarahSilent G:  it’s pretty and timeless, classic. There there will always be bigger but there will also be many smaller, and of worser quality! Rather have quality than one that is misty and heavy included.

We are ring twins! I also have a .54 yellow gold solitaire. Many of our friends are also getting engaged and the trends are these: halos, thin pave rings and big center stones. Not one of our friends DOESN’T have a halo ring and that really ramps up the size. I didn’t choose my ring or give any input so who knows what I would have chosen myself but I do like the look of a solitaire. It is the most classic look in my opinion and although it is definitely not unique, in a sea of giant halos (which are beautiful btw) a solitaire stands out.
