I would not recommend using a company you’ve never read reviews of.

I would personally go with Milly Bridal.

To be honest, I wish I had more time from when I found my dress. It’s totally a dress I would feel comfortable with them making. However, I just don’t have the time now to risk having them make it, possibly not like it. And order a dress from the designer if I don’t.

If the dress you are thinking of is lace heavy I would seriously reconsider having it made in China though. Any other material I would personally feel comfortable.

GL!

I wish I had seen this post sooner! I bought my wedding dress from mybigfatbeautifulwedding.com and it couldn’t be more perfect! My fiance’s sister found the website and I was very nervous because I couldn’t find any reviews, except for those on their website. I live in Pittsburgh, PA  and found that the shop (by appointment only) was a six hour drive from my house. I figured, what was there to lose? If it turned out to be a scam or a ripoff, I would still have had a fun, inexpensive road trip. If it didn’t, I would have found my dream dress at an amazing cost. I had to schedule my appointment just over a month in advance. Janet was so accommodating and kind. I had a late evening appointment and spent over four hours in her shop. She was wonderful. I tried on several dresses that were all just stunning, but I ended up purchasing the one that I originally wanted – and was not in her shop. I was so pleased with her work that I ordered my dress from her without trying on the exact dress, the Chandler. My dress arrived two weeks ago and it is breathtaking. I was so pleased with Janet and her work, that I would recommend her dresses to anyone. I normally don’t post on sites like this, but I figured that other brides might be having the same worries over a lack of reviews. I discovered that one person in particular has been making nasty and suspect remarks about mybigfatbeautifulwedding.com and thought I would share my experience with others so that when people are searching for reviews, they’ll find more than just the bad and non-existant.

i’d be very wary of reviews from people whose only post on here is a review….

haha just saw that there’s another post on the bee today about this company and apparently everyone claimed the people sticking up for the company were BS too since they all had 1 or 2 posts only and each post had to do with glowing reviews of the company….beware!

@Mrs. Meowerson: yeah, I saw that too.   This is getting really irritating.  No matter how good a company’s product may or may not be, when they resort to shady tactics like this it makes me wonder how they could be trusted to be honest with customer service issues…

@greenleaf- the best part is, this “damage control” just makes them look like idiots…way to ruin one’s reputation in an attempt to salvage it!

DO NOT ORDER A DRESS FROM HERE!! They might be find for prom dresses but not for you wedding! I ordered a dress from here that was supposed to arrive by the second week of November LATEST and just received it today (dec. 16th) and my wedding is on january 1st. I’ll let the pictures do the talking but the dress was falling apart, beads were apparently glued on, and glitter glue was used on my dress for I don’t know what reason, and she refuses to give me a refund because I approved for her to send me the dress(obviously if the took closeups which they didn’t for obvious reasons, I would have NEVER approved it for shipping). She offered to send me knew flower appliques without all the messy glue all over it, but obviously less then 2 weeks before my wedding and holidays coming up and going out of town, I would not have time to find a seamstress to completely fix her mistakes. So now I have to run around and find a new dress within the next 2 days… DO NOT RISK IT! email me if you have any questions or to see more pictures ! [email protected]
