dh and I are in the midst of planning our summer vacay, and it looks like we’ll be going to Myrtle Beach! Any bees that have been/ live there…any tips on what to do, or where to stay? Also, would you say we need to rent a car, or should we not bother??
Any tips would be greatly appreciated!!

You def need a car, that place is sprawl heaven. Can’t say I reccomend it, not sure why it gets the hype.

@sara_tiara: This is actually my FI’s fav vacation spot. I could do without it, but I cherish the memories and summers we’ve spent there, so I can’t really complain.
It is VERY touristy – espcially in the heart of MB. Surfside Beach/Cherry Grove/Murrell’s Inlet are a little less touristy (in my opinion). You absolutely need a car — the whole area is very widespread.
My favorite place to stay has been the Hilton. They are no longer pet friendly, so we’re probably going to rent a house this year, but I loved the set up there. Plus, the pool bar was super!
I love Murrell’s Inlet — all the restaurants are super delicious & I love renting paddle boards down there during the way and paddling around the marsh. 🙂 Super fun.
