We are having a VERY casual wedding and were thinking of doing a full wedding bar with all the trimmings. Then we’d have cake/cupcakes and drinks. Any other food you guys can think of? Or do you think this will be enough?

I would be delriously happy to attend a wedding with a Nacho Bar. My grandmother would be horrified. You just have to know your audience.

@MrsGorsuch2013: Depends on your guests but I personally would be ALL over it 🙂

I think it sounds good. A very original idea!!

Yes yes yes. Unique and yummy!
Edit: maybe add a salad option for any vegan, gluten-intolerant, or other dietary issues. But seriously… who doesn’t love nachos? 😉

Would the nacho bar be the main food line?
As long as you get a variety of high quality toppings! Different meats, rice, seasoned pinto beans, black beans, grilled onions, peppers, corn, jalapenos, different cheeses, sour cream, guac, different salsas, pico, lettuces, maybe some other type of sauce. I love nachos! Also include different lettuces that way people can make salads if they want something lighter. I would also include tortillas so people could make burritos or wraps.
As long as we’re not talking the gas station nacho cheese nachos I think it would be delicious.

Please invite me to your wedding if you are going to do this.

That sounds awesome! A PP mentioned vegans, but vegans love nachos! Or at least I do. If you have have beans, guac, rice, and hot sauce any dairy or meat free people are set.

We are doing one! That was like the first decision we made!

Great! Now I want nachos. This is an awesome idea. Holy yum.

That sounds amazing! I agree that you should make sure you have plenty of toppings (beans, meat, guac, different salsas, cheeses, etc) and you should be set. I don’t know a soul who doesn’t love nachos!
I just am curious as to how you plan to keep everything warm… The warmer and meltier my nachos are the happier I am. And I’d love to steal this idea for my sister’s 30th… So I’m really curious about the logistics of this. Is there a way to heat up nachos for a group? Maybe a person manning an oven or something?
