Ohhh, I’m obsessed.

My favorite brands are Zoya, Orly, and Essie. I love Zoya’s colors and the promotions they do for their fans (their Facebook page, specifically). I rarely pay full price for a bottle.

I use a Revlon quick dry base coat, usually two coats of color, and I finish it with Seche Vite top coat. SV is a super fast drying top coat that leaves a TON of shine. I love it, but it smells AWFUL. I use Zoya’s remover, it’s called Remove+. It doesn’t smell as awful as most other removers, doesn’t dry out my nails and cuticles and it works great.

Remove+ is the greatest nail polish remover EVER

I don’t use base coat, my nails don’t stain easily and I have 0 patience. I do three coats and use Essie’s “Good to Go” top coat. Seche Vite does dry super fast but it shrinks my polish too much.

Brand wise I have the most Essie polishes. I also use OPI, China Glaze, Zoya and Rescue Beauty Louge is my splurge. I have one Chanel polish (I dont think they’re worth the price tag at all).

@LGenz:  Seche shrinks mine sometimes..usually just my Zoyas!

@TequilaSunrise:  Be careful, it’s addicting 😛

Essie is my favorite brand for neutrals, but I like both Essie and OPI for color.  I use both base and top coat – you really have to use a top coat with Essie polishes because they can turn your nails yellow (especially in the summer).  I have one (it’s Essie brand) that has UV protection in it.

In terms of colors, I usually stick to Essie’s “Power Lunch” or “Bordeaux” (a rich red) for hands and OPI’s “Nomad’s Dream” or the “Bordeaux” for my toes.  I am super boring when it comes to color…
