I have to wear work-place nails too 🙂 I love the look of dense, neutral colored glitter and have gotten tons of compliments on how it is fun & cute while being neutral.

Currently wearing this in “razzle dazzler”:

I do a “gelly sandwich” with an LED light/cure, so a gel base coat, “regular” polish, and gel topcoat. The base makes it much easier to remove the glitter polish.

Also love the look of beige or peach nails slightly paler or slightly darker than my skin tone. Nice change of pace from the pinks & reds.

@Sunshine_icicles:  I haven’t had any problems yet! The sequence I do it:

– base coat, cure under LED, swipe with alcohol pad

– 1 to 2 coats of regular polish; let dry completely. I sometimes cheat and use a blow dryer to speed this up.

– top coat, cure under LED, swipe with alcohol pad

A 100% gel mani will last a little bit longer, but I’m a picker/peeler anyways so I only get a day or two more out of gel plus there are so many more colors in regular polish. I also use decent quality drugstoe “regular” polish, e.g. Sally Hansen rather than wet & wild. If I could, I’d do gel for every mani because it dries SO fast.

How many days do you get out of the sandwich technique?
