I like the look of square nails with rounded edges. I think it looks clean, and French manicures look great with it.

It is possibly just me but the one time I had nails that were squard off I caught the heck out of them on everything. I managed to rip half one off. But then again many most people are less clumsy than I am. Side note:Who would ever file their nails into talons like those pointed ones?!?

Mine are usually squoval, but I had no idea until I saw this post.

I am insanely picky about my nail shape.. I won’t let any manicurists file them, though I get manicures every two weeks.  They HAVE to be oval, and completely symmetrical.  Personally, I think it looks nicer/more natural, square ones just look like fake tips.

This is horrible, but I never shape my nails. Then again, I’ve been cursed with terrible nails that grow slowly and break easily (and I’ve tried taking all manner of vitamins to correct it), so there doesn’t seem to be much of a point in messing with them!

    I don’t shape my nails..but they’re probably most squoval! And I think that’s the nicest 🙂

I like squoval the best. Not a fan of the popular square french manicures, seems unnatural to me.

It looks like yours are naturally “squoval,” so that should be pretty easy to keep up.
