    None of them--go natural!

None of them--try a color (please name a color)

@Statutory Grape: I love red nails, but I don’t think that would work with a green dress. Unless you don’t mind the christmas-y look. Have you considered a DIY french manicure?

I actually like the sheer, but with only maybe 2 coats versus 3.  Usually a third coat just makes polish darker and “chunkier” which would lead it to chip more easy and not last as long.

If you wanted to try something different other than the sheer you could also try a more off white color like Essie’s Like Linen or O.P.I.’s Matched Luggage.

Whichever color you decide, the major challenge with wearing these types of colors is making sure each coat of the polish is even.

    Good luck!

Check out OPI colors, there are TONS and they’re awesome! Maybe a dark chocolate brown polish? It’s not as harsh as black (although I love black polish) but has a certain sophistication to it.

I’ve never had a lot of luck with pearl/white polish. It seems like if I put more than two coats on it always smudges and doesn’t dry properly. It kind of bums me out, because I really like the look of white fingernails.

What about a rich purple or brown? Those would look great with green.

I think doing them a more solid ivory/white would look better. Another suggestion might be to do it a solid pale pink? I had my nails manicured with a few coats of solid pale pink and it looked very bridal (had it done for our engagement party).
