I would definitely go with a pale color. If you choose something bold, it might look gorgeous in person but strange in the pictures. What looks good IRL doesn’t always translate well to photos.

I love all your dresses! I’m obsessed with nail polish & I change my color once or twice a week. I love OPI’s gargantuan green grape, but I wouldn’t wear it for epics. I love OPI & Essie. How about:

Essie’s A Crewed Interest (fun but still very feminine & muted)

or Essie’s Absolutely Shore (I’m wearing this right now… its a minty color but definitely more muted than Gargantuan Grape)

or Essie’s nice is nice (one of my favs)

or Essie’s muchi muchi (I wore this one in my epics)

Told you I was obsessed! lol

I say GO BOLD!

I didn’t listen to any of the “rules” when it came to makeup or nail polish for my e-pics and wedding pictures. I like bold, bright nail polish too.

For my engagement pictures I wore a very bright coral color.. I am so glad I did! It didn’t even match all my outfits but it looked so cute in the pics.

On my wedding day, I wore a dark purple that was almost black.

Just go with what you love, you won’t EVER regret it!

I think if you usually wear bold colors, then you should stay true to that in your epics.  I wear a lot of dark colors, so for epics I went with a charcoal gray.  Looked great in the pics.

The most important thing is that the mani looks good.  The photog will want to get shots of the ring/ your hand.

Also, if your photographer is flexible, a new coat only takes a minute or two if you want to take pictures with two different colors. This gives you options!
