How do you plan on doing your nails on your day?
I have short nails, so I’m debating over the typical french manicure that goes w everything, or maybe something bold like dark Red, since my lips will be red and Im going for a Hollywood vintage glam look.

I love red, but heard that red looks like black in black and white pictures and I want some of my pics converted to B & W. I’m thinking of kind of a reddish-pink. It’ll probably still look black! Oh well. I’m getting a manicure about once every other week to try out colors closer to the date (maybe the end of March).

i really wanted to do red – i did them red for my bridal portraits but when the time came i just went with an OPI called sheer luck- it was very neautral – figured it would be great for the honeymoon too. here is a pic

I still have my wedding manicure! I’m not a huge fan of french manicures on my nails so I just wanted something pretty and neutral that would look “finished” without standing out. I got one of those cool new gel manicures and it was amazing! It was totally dry and hard before I even got up from the manicure table, and it is supposed to last 3 weeks! We’re only at 4 days since I got it now… but I’ll let you know how that turns out 🙂

I love color, so I didn’t want a french manicure. Pink is my favorite color so I went with that.

Can’t go wrong with ballet slipper pink. Do people still wear french manicures? They are considered tacky nowadays in LA…though I wish they weren’t because I love the look when done right.

I’m doing the traditional french, with a bit of a twist!:
