I am getting my makeup professionally done but I am stuck on the nails. I have naturally long nails so i dont need acrylics. My dress is champagne color. No clue what to do with my nails.
How are you ladies wearing your nails for your wedding?

I have no clue either… I should probably figure this out, as I have one more week to go! I don’t want fake nails, so I’m using mine (even though they’re semi-short). We’re going on Thursday night, so I don’t know if I should do a french manicure because those don’t last very long. I hate nail polish on my nails… so maybe I should do clear. I used to get “cotton candy” on my nails, do y’all remember that color? It’s a pearly color, I may do that.

I say do something funky! I love all this new nail artwork they have now. Zebra print, flowers, birds. I’ve seen some really cute designs on YouTube.

This was how I had mine like a pearly colour, though it’s hard to see in the photo.

I wore a pearly pink on my hands and bright red on my toes.

I plan on doing a neutral pink on my fingers (to keep it more “traditional”), but I plan on painting my toes a navy blue shade, one of my wedding colors.

I always wear clear polish

I’ve never really liked the look of a French manicure so I got a neutral tone and was happy with it. I wanted something more than clear, but nothing that would draw too much attention in pictures.

@Miss Tattoo: Not to be creepy, but you have really nice nails!

I really love the new nail looks too, like the funky rhinestones and zebra prints.. But I am such a plain person, haha. I may do french but I also really like the rhinestone look too… so ummm, I dunno yet.
I dunno why but I love these:

@Aure: Thanks! I started taking extra care right before we were engaged because I knew everyone would be looking at my hands. Now I’m preparing them for hand photos for epics and wedding pics.

I wore a french manicure, but instead of white tips I wore silver glitter with rhinestones only on my ring fingers.

French manicure all the way. I just love the way it looks so clean.
