@EmeleeRose  it is a step cut . I did get it . I have no idea what I will do yet with it until I see it . Because of COVID 19 they say might take 45 days to get to me 😏. I think oval would be good on you as well . O yeah that’s awesome you work in that field . I be so bad if I did I try take them all home with me . I carry some stones in my purse because can’t really do anything with them so they are my traveling good luck stones . One is a 20 ct rose quartz . And other is a fancy cut Citrine but too organ brown for my taste so I just carry it . I know it’s weird .lol

@longtimemrs  I love all of your multiple sets!! ❀ How are you getting your spouses on board with this addiction? Do you have a jewelery budget in the financial plan? I’m asking because I’m in the process of designing my next ring right now and my husband still has freaking PTSD from my e-ring purchase 3 years ago! I need to learn your ways!!

@bluecutie00  I changed out my manicure. You inspired me to go with a red, which is not a color I wear often.

Here’s Snowy looking all clean and crisp-clear in the shade today:

And one with a little extra “sparkle” in more sunlight …

@bluecutie00  Thanks so much! I wish I had a steady jewelry budget. But I just get the okay from my hubby here and there when a new project pops up. Usually, they are to celebrate milestones or for birthdays, anniversary, Christmas, etc. I’m fortunate in that he is okay with it.

@longtimemrs  I love your ring and mani! 😍 Yes, I finally got my husband to agree to purchasing me a ring that is a wedding band, push present, 3rd year wedding anniversary and graduation gift combined. Ha!

@EmeleeRose  I actually have really terrible nails! They’re super soft (like, I can just peel them off instead of filing or clipping sorry if TMI). I’ve started taking biotin, but I’ve had the best luck with at home gel manicures (I use Sally Hansen’s). The gel/cure gives me the added strength needed to grow them out. This time around though, they look so nice because I’m not wearing gloves and working with my hands like normal (quarantine blessing? lol). First full day back in the lab today, and I have lost all of my nails πŸ˜

Sorry that was proably way more detail than anyone ever wanted to know about my nails, lol

@bluecutie00  At first my husband was so not into it (‘why do you need MORE rings?’). I had to warm him up to it. I started acquiring pre-loved rings (mostly moissanite, all <$300), always asking for his input because we discuss purchases >$200. Around that time, he started to catch on how much joy they bring me.

So now, any special occasion is a “ring occasion,” lol. My birthday is coming up so I have a stone being cut (he actually picked out the facet pattern and color!! which was honestly huge and meant a lot to me) and surprised me with an opal recently. I think that once your hubby realizes that rings/jewelry to you are *insert favorite hobby/toy here* to him it will click. That’s what worked for our relationship anyways!
