Wow, I’m not sure what you should do. But for clarification, am I going to have to my college degrees when I get married? I have a bachelors and will have my masters before I get married. Can’t I just tell anyone who wants to hire me that it’s in my maiden name? I’m dropping my maiden name like it’s hot (keeping my middle name), so it won’t be in any of my new documents.

You can arrange the names the way you want, however your legal name will be, Your first Your middle His last Your last. You can’t pick and choose on legal documents. It will be that way on your Social Security card, driver’s license, taxes, airline tickets, etc. Anywhere your legal name appears it has to appear that way… no picking and choosing.
Socially, you can pick and choose and do whatever you want. But once you decide what your legal name will be, that’s what it is unless you change it again later.
