(Closed) Name Changes and International Honeymoon – what to do?

Book it in your married name, you’ll have lots of time to get all the documents changed and some airlines (most) don’t let you do name changes so you’re best to put your new name and then get your name officially changed as soon as possible. ๐Ÿ™‚

Actually, check and see how long it takes in your area… I’m speaking from BC and my friend got hers quick but I just remebered it can take way longer in some areas :S

Ya they should totally understand if you explain that you’ll have a brand new passport number and name (YAY!) ๐Ÿ™‚ and give them your old passport number in the mean time if they need it. I had a girlfriend that took a cruise too and not everything had been changed so she showed up with old ID, new ID and a copy of her marriage certificate, lol, just bring copies of all haha ๐Ÿ™‚
