I’ll make a poll here but would also to love hear thoughts.
These are our final name choices for baby boy.
He will have two middle names to honor both sides of the family (he will be the only child so we want to do this). His middle names will be Lee Patryk.
The name Wilfred is after his grandpas, Wilbur and Fred.
Thank you in advance for your input and help.

I really like Wilfred as that name seems the most legitimate- I don’t like that the others are last names. Plus he could go by Will if he likes.
ETA Is there a reason you are spelling Patrick like that? It looks pretty weird….

Wilfred is so cute! and he could go by Will or Freddie if he wanted. I’d go for that or Montgomery as the others aren’t real names – though Rigby is nice it sounds like a dog name

I guess given the options Wilfred. I actually perfer Lee Patrick or Patrick Lee (as first and middle) rather than the names listed.
While I appreciate the good “classic” names, these just weren’t for me especially with the two middle names. Also agree with PP about Patryk spelling. I feel like Montgomery Lee Patryk Lastname is like a great name for a british butler. Actually, they all kind of remind me of butler names now that I think of it. lol

I like wilfred and montgomery (monty), but the others don’t seem like they could be first names to me. Rigby is by far the worst though, sorry.

I have a friend whose dog’s name is Rigby, so that is definitely out for me.
Agree with points made by PP – none of these are really “working” for me.. Wilfred if I had to choose.

Patryk is the a Polish name and it’s spelled in its traditional way for the person it honors.

Personally, I dislike them all. I would go with Wilfred like PP’s so he could be called Will instead. My second choice would be Langston. As for the Patryk spelling, I am assuming that is probably a family thing – otherwise I agree w/PPs that it should be spelled Patrick.

I hate to be critical, but since your kid will have their name forever…I really dislike all of those options. Sorry. Wilfred is the worst for me…it’s too close to Winifred, and therefore automatically strikes me as a female name. When I try to imagine it as a male name, the only image I can conjure up is an old British butler. And even if he goes by Will or Fred, I also can imagine once he gets older and into school, and someone manages to find out his full name that kids would be cruel with that one. The others also sound super formal…or like PP’s have mentioned, like they’re more suited to dogs than people. I, personally, would stick with just Lee Patrick or Patrick Lee. Sorry 🙁

Wilfred is so cute! But I voted Montgomery. What a strong name!

I like the meaning behind Wilfred, so that got my vote. Montgomery is nice too. I’m not a fan of the others and Rigby just reminds me of Rigby Rhino from a Full House episode.

What about just having one of the two middle name options as a first name, and then the second middle name as the only middle name?
We don’t like either middle name as a first. I know some people are anti-two middle names but it’s what works for us.
I have thought about Rigby sounding a bit like a dogs name as well.
Its interesting that so many people don’t seem to like these or feel they aren’t “real names”. They very much are given names and I guess we just don’t like common enough ones for the crowd.

The only one I would not cringe at is Montgomery. I actually that’s pretty adorable. (and can also work when he grows up)
