He came to the shelter a week ago and they named him “Junior” (which is very funny because I’m also a ginger with green eyes) but I’m not sure I’m feeling the name, and I don’t really think he cares! He is a cuddly and calm indoor fluff ball.

What about Ginger? Congrats! He’s a beautiful cat.

I say Jude or Bob! HE IS SOOO CUTE!

Seems too girly … he’s a real man’s man. (haha, kidding of course) I was thinking about some sort of Irish sounding name as a throwback to our shared gingerness. But it’s hard to balance, because we obviously have to make sure it’s not something we’d name our future (presumably ginger and definitely Irish) babies!

Ok. Challenge accepted. How about:

There was another thread today about the name Finn and that’s Irish. He’d be a cute Finn. Or maybe Fitz. As long as his last name is O’Kitty McMeowers, can’t go wrong.

Loving Rowan and Finn! Names that wouldn’t work with our last name and totally non-threats to our future offspring. Haha.
And O’Kitty McMeowers is 110% happening.

What a handsome fellow! We recently named our new “Irish” kitten Murphy.

mmmm.. now your talking to a person who really does go into detail about naming animals. I have two cats, and one dog and named them from doing much research. Ok first I will ask you, what town did he come from? State? Think of the citys in that area and go from there.
Is there something or a person who came from that area of interest? Take it from there and do a search. Thats how I find the most interesting names for animals.. Im not one for fluffy or any names like that.
