I would prefer neither. A plain robe in a pretty print. I’ve never looked at a robe and thought, “That would be better if my name were on it.”

My own personal preference is neither, just leave them plain. Have yours in a different colour to stand out for the photos.

    Unpersonalized is always best.

if you are giving these robes as props for pictures, you should not consider them the gifts.

i also agree with no personalization if you want to use them as gifts, but don’t require them to wear them for pictures.

Definitely plain, name or initials/monogram as a second best choice. If I got a robe that said bridesmaid on it I would roll my eyes and get rid of it the next day.

Either names or unpersonalized. Not Role.

I have been a bridesmaid/MOH in a few weddings and have never reused anything that was personalized with the role. And sometimes I really wanted to reuse that cute little clutch, but the Maid/Matron of Honor in big letters just really didn’t go with my outfit! lol.

huisinjj :  Lol, so many people do floral printed robes, it’s not like its an original idea so you would not be copying. I would do robes in a print or color, no name or role. I don’t like my name on articles of clothing nor would I want “bridesmaid” plastered on the back.

    Neither.

Monogramming and names reminds me of being a kid and your mom sewing your initials into your sweaters and underwear. It’s juvenile, IMO.
