I’ve always loved Wesley, so that was my first pick.  I also picked Gabriel, because I think Gabe is a great nickname that grows well with a child.

Dont have any kids yet  but I think it’s pretty important and should be special to you. You’ll be calling lo that for next 18 plus years. If one of you hates it mathe try to keep compromising on something you each can at least live with? All that aside, I love the name Gabriel! What do you like?

Yes – I think it is important to love your child’s name.

Of those, the only one I personally kind of like is Wesley.

Gabe and Wesley for me. I actually saw something today that said Wesley/West is one of the most popular boy names so far in 2012. The other three are a little too out there for me.

You’re going to be whispering, yelling, cooing, reprimanding, soothing, and laughing while saying that name from birth until forever. I think you should definitely love it ๐Ÿ™‚

I love the name Wesley, and I also like Gabriel (though Wes is still my favourite!). I do not like Maximus, though. : /

i actually really love wesley and gabriel. they have both been on my short list at one point or another for my future kids.

    dante is okay…

i just cannot picture a child named athos and maximus. (can’t really even picture an adult named that). they’re just heavy, heavy names and would seem out of place unless you’re super super greek and have been using these names in your families for ages.

Westley is my youngest’s name so I voted for Wesley. Not the same, but close enough ๐Ÿ™‚

It’s important to love your baby’s name, yes!

I chose Wesley and Maximus… I have friends who named their first son Stuart and their second son Maxwell… Their kids are “Stu and Max” and it really fits them! So, I think Maximus could easily work! And Wesley is becoming popular again ๐Ÿ™‚

It is very important to love your child’s  name.  As for the names you listed. Sorry I don’t care for any of them.

I think it’s extremely important that you love the name, but I love names and would never be happy with one I didn’t love.

I’m confused. Unless you feel obligated to use some family name, why would you give your baby a name you don’t love? Can you not agree with your husband? It should at least be a name you like a lot. ๐Ÿ™‚

That said, I really like Wesley and Gabriel. Not a fan of the others.

I think it’s very important to love your baby’s name but remember that doesn’t gaurantee that your child will like their name, (I’ve never liked my name).

Out of those names I like Maximus best.  And I also like other variations of Max if you’re open to them.

I’m not a fan of Wesley at all though.
